While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to Kanoa Transportation, LLC. You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any passwords or other personal account information. Other internet sites or services that may be accessible through Kanoa Transportation, LLC have separate data and privacy policies independent of Kanoa Transportation, LLC. Kanoa Transportation, LLC disclaims any liability or responsibility for their policies, procedures and or actions.

Licensing and Insurance
Kanoa Transportation, LLC is licensed in accordance with the State of Hawaiʻi Public Utilities Commission regulations, PUC #853-C. All Kanoa Transportation, LLC Professional Drivers are state licensed. Kanoa Transportation, LLC provides $1 million dollars in general and auto liability with a $2 million dollar aggregate insurance coverage for all of our passengers. Copies of our certificates of coverage are available upon request and should be sent in writing via e-mail to info@kanoatransportation.com.

Reservations
All reservations must be made in advance. Reservation and quote requests are accepted 24 hours a day up to 8 hours prior to requested pickup time however advanced 24 hour notice is requested. Service is not available at Honolulu Harbor Cruise Ship Terminal (Pier 2 & 11) or Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) without a prior reservation.

Agreements & Contracts
Any verbal or written agreement or contract is considered binding and governed by the laws of the State of Hawai'i and the United States of America respectively.

Price Quotes
Any price quote issued either verbally or in writing is subject to reasonable change by the company with or without advanced notice should the circumstances of the booking(s) change by the client or client representative prior to or after transportation service has commenced. This policy is necessary to insure that the company is able to adequately provide or continue to adequately provide the client with requested transportation service without unnecessary delays or interruptions causing embarrassment or financial loss to the client. This policy will still apply if an official transportation contract has been drafted, agreed to, signed and executed by both the company and client or client representative. This policy pertains but is not limited to group transportation.

Parental Consent
Parental consent forms must be completed and submitted when no adult is present for all passengers in the vehicle under the age of 18. For school sponsored events such as functions and or proms parental consent forms must be completed and submitted for all passengers in the vehicle under the age of 21.

Child Vehicle Restraints
Youth booster seats are available upon advanced request for an additional fee. Booster seats are for children weighing 30 to 100 pounds (14-45kg) only. Infant and child safety seats are available upon advance request for an additional fee. Safety seats are for infants and children weighing up to 40 pounds (18kg).

Waiting Time
All standard transfers include complementary 15 minutes waiting time. All port pickups include complementary 30 minutes waiting time. All airport pickups include complementary 60 minutes waiting time. All airport and port arrivals are tracked and pickup times will be adjusted accordingly. If arrivals are extensively early or delayed there may be extended wait times for pickup. When making a reservation you may include buffer time if delays are anticipated after your arrival or you require extra time prior to pickup. Any extra approved waiting time is charged at $1.42 per minute for sedans, $1.50 for minivans and $1.59 for SUV’s.

Arrival Instructions Airport & Port
When you have your luggage and are ready for pickup please proceed to your pickup location as listed below. Due to airport and port security regulations drivers are not allowed to leave vehicles unattended. Only active loading, unloading or limited staging is allowed at the pickup areas. If you have chosen airport concierge service your driver or concierge will meet you at the baggage claim. Your driver or concierge will display a sign with your name on it. For airport pickups your driver or concierge will wait 60 minutes from flight arrival time. For port pickups your driver will wait 30 minutes from ship docking or pickup time. If you are unable to locate your driver or concierge or you are delayed in the baggage claim or customs and immigration or if your flight or cruise is delayed or canceled please call us immediately.

LOCATING YOUR DRIVER (Airport)

Outside Loading Zone Pick Up Areas:

Your driver will be waiting at the meet & greet Pre-Arranged loading zone listed below with your name on a sign.

Terminal 1: All arrivals meet driver at Pre-Arranged 1.

Terminal 2: International arrivals (International flights requiring customs & immigration clearance) meet driver at Pre-Arranged 3.

Terminal 2: Domestic arrivals (U.S. Mainland & Canada flights) meet driver at Pre-Arranged 5.

Terminal 3: All arrivals meet driver at Pre-Arranged loading zone.

Identify yourself by showing your booking confirmation to your driver.

DIFFICULTY IN LOCATING YOUR DRIVER

Contact your driver for assistance. Do not leave without having contacted your driver at +1 (866) 245-2662 (Toll Free) first.

In the event of delays over 60 minutes on arrival you must call your driver. There are 60 minutes wait time included from your arrival time.

LOCATING YOUR DRIVER (Hotel / Residence)

Please be waiting at the hotel reception 10/15 minutes before your pick up time, your driver will be holding a sign with your name.

If you are staying at a private residence, villa or hostel please be outside 10/15 minutes before your pick up time.

Identify yourself by showing your booking confirmation to your driver.

DIFFICULTY IN LOCATING YOUR DRIVER

Contact your driver for assistance. Do not leave without having contacted your driver at +1 (866) 245-2662 (Toll Free) first.

In the event of delays over 15 minutes you must call your driver. There are 15 minutes wait time included from your pickup time.

LOCATING YOUR DRIVER (Port)

Important: You must call your driver at +1 (866) 245-2662 (Toll Free) to have your driver dispatched to you from the staging area.

Pier 2:

Your driver will be waiting after disembarkation, at the Shuttle & Limousine pickup area outside the terminal holding a sign with your name.

Pier 11:

Your driver will be waiting after disembarkation, at the authorized pick up area outside the terminal holding a sign with your name.

Important: DO NOT wait for your driver at the friends & family or taxi pickup areas. Your driver can not access those zones and will not be able to locate you.

Identify yourself by showing your booking confirmation to your driver.

In the event of delays over 30 minutes on arrival you must call your driver. There are 30 minutes wait time included from your pickup time.

Passenger No Show
If your driver or concierge is unable to locate or contact you and or you fail to contact us within the waiting time period the trip will be considered a no show and your driver and or concierge will depart. No refunds will be provided for no shows.

Reservation Agreement
You must be at least 18 years of age to reserve a vehicle. Proof of identification may be asked for. Overtime charges apply when the transfer or tour exceeds the allotted time and will be calculated on the base rate for what the vehicle was chartered for. The grace period is 15 minutes and charges are in half hour increments. We are not responsible for overtime charges incurred due to traffic, road conditions or inclement weather conditions. Vehicles cannot be loaded beyond certified seating capacity. The client assumes full financial liability for any vehicle damage caused during the duration of the reservation by themselves or any members of their party. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles. It is illegal to stand through the moon-roof or sunroof while the vehicle is in motion.

Payment Methods
Full payment for services must be received prior to service and must be made at the time of reservation. Deposits in the amount of 50% of the total invoice are accepted for larger reservations at the time of reservation with the balance being paid prior to service. We accept cash and all major credit cards. Credit card processing is completed through Square Inc. and or Stripe Financial Services. Foreign currency is not accepted. Only United Stated dollar (USD) is accepted. All electronic payments are subject to a minimum 5% service charge in the event of cancellation (merchant fees which are not refundable by merchant companies).

Payment Terms
A 18% per year (1.5% per month) service charge is applied to past due balances. A $30 ISF fee is applied for returned checks. In the event this account becomes delinquent and is placed into the hands of an attorney or a licensed collector for collection, customers will be accessed in addition to the amount of said account and interest, all cost of collection including a reasonable attorney's fee up to the amount referred.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the day of service to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the day of service will not be refunded and will result in a 100% charge being incurred. Reservations made within 24 hours prior to the day of service will not be refunded if canceled and will result in a 100% charge being incurred. Any No Shows will result in a 100% charge being incurred. Emergency cancellations due to mitigating circumstances made less than 24 hours prior to the day of service will be considered on a case by case basis. All approved refunds will be credited within 7 to 10 business days after cancellation. All claims for refunds must be made within thirty (30) days from the date of service and should be sent in writing via e-mail only to info@kanoatransportation.com.

Cancellations with more than 24 hour notice may be completed online through the booking system. Click on the booking cancelation link provided on your booking confirmation email.

Cancellations with less than 24 hour notice may be completed by phone by dialing +1 (866) 245-2662 (Toll Free) during normal business hours. You must speak with a live representative for a cancellation to be accepted. If there is no answer please try your call again later until you speak with a live representative. Cancellations by voicemail or email will not be accepted.

Alcohol Policy
You must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. Alcohol consumption is prohibited in certain vehicles without a partition. Any fines incurred due to passenger negligence and or recklessness will be paid for by the client. The driver has the right to terminate the trip without refund if there is blatant indiscretion on the part of the client or any members of their party.

Vehicle Replacement
All vehicles are subject to availability. Vehicle make and model is not guaranteed. We only guarantee the reserved vehicle class. We aggregate the spare capacities of approved and trusted local transportation partners. We reserve the right to exchange vehicles due to unforeseen mechanical problems, maintenance issues, issues beyond our control or in the event of an accident for which we are unable to provide your reserved vehicle class.  The replacement vehicle may be of lower, equal or higher quality. If you are not satisfied with the replacement vehicle a service credit may be issued at the sole discretion of Kanoa Transportation, LLC.

Out of Town Charge / Drive Time
Drive time is the time it takes to drive the vehicle to the pickup location from the garage and or from the drop off location back to the garage. You acknowledge and agree when placing a booking if your pick up or drop off location is outside of Downtown Honolulu, you will be subject to additional drive time up to 60 min each way. The additional drive time will be deducted from your booked charter time. This only applies to hourly bookings. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding drive time.

Cleaning and Damage Fees
In the event of sickness (Interior) a cleaning fee of up to $500 may be imposed. In the event of sickness (Exterior) a $200 cleaning fee may be imposed. In the event of an act of vandalism or an extensive cleanup a minimum $500 fee may be imposed for each act. Downtime subject to loss of revenue, per each hour will be charged at $80 per hour. Kanoa Transportation, LLC will not be held liable for any lost, stolen or damaged personal articles and or property left in vehicles and for any injuries or losses resulting from passenger negligence and or conflicts.

Right to Refuse Service
Kanoa Transportation, LLC reserves the right to refuse service to any person or entity as permitted by law.

Changes to Terms of Use
